Organized by the office of Bronx Borough President Vanessa L. Gibson, the Bronx Tourism Council and the Bronx Overall Economic Development Corporation, Bronx Week 2022 continues the tradition of holding educational and fun-filled events while celebrating some of the borough’s great people and resources.

Borough President Gibson worked with a number of local officials and Bronx influencers to lead events and ceremonies in service to Bronxites. The lineup of events includes the official Bronx Week Kickoff Press Conference, the distribution of computers to some college-bound high school students and senior citizens in partnership with Bronx Community Foundation, the 23^rd Annual Bankers Breakfast, and the Bronx Week Parade and Concert featuring hip hop, R&B, salsa, freestyle and more performed by local and world-renowned artists. A highlight of Bronx Week is the customary induction of Bronx-raised heroes into the borough’s own Bronx Walk of Fame. 2022 inductees, Hip Hop Artist and Film Director Eif Rivera, Actor Luis Antonio Ramos, and Grammy-nominated Recording Artist Remy Ma are celebrated in grand style at the Bronx Ball.

The BronxNet broadcast includes all the events mentioned, along with reports and vignettes from other Bronx Week events. The special Bronx Week program marathon will be broadcast on Saturday 5/28 at 6pm, and rebroadcast Sunday 5/29 at 1pm on BronxNet channel 67 Optimum 2133 Fios and streamed at www.bronxnet.tv.
