MENG STATEMENT ON DEADLY MILITARY PLANE CRASH IN BANGLADESH

“The deadly crash of the Bangladeshi Air Force training aircraft in Dhaka is devastating. My heart is with the victims and all who are impacted, especially parents who have tragically lost their children and the young students who have lost their friends and classmates. As a mother of two, I can only imagine the heartbreak and pain families are experiencing. I am praying for a quick and full recovery for all who were injured in this accident.
I stand with the Bangladeshi community in grieving this terrible loss. I am grateful for the brave first responders at the scene of this crash, and my office remains ready to assist any constituents whose family members have been impacted.” PRESS RELEASE
