Kids Events Celebrated at Brooklyn New York

USA NEWS : May 26th at P.S 179 Brooklyn NY, there was an event sponsored by Brooklyn Bangladesh Business Association and Boshakhi Mela Committee 2012 and kids events which was organized by Mahab and Shimul with the collaboration of 3 organizations; Charro kontha, Anushilan and Kids PDD Tacklers Inc. The program started wit the cutting of a ribbon for the opening ceremony by Professor Kabir and Dr. Mansoor Khan. The event consisted with three parts. The first part was national songs organized by Anushilan and Charro kontha. The second part was the talent show, which was organized by Kids PDD Tacklers Inc. And the third part was the women’s musical pillow game. During the first part, kids and their parents sang Bangladesh national anthem and the U.S.A national anthem, directed by Rina Ahmed and hosted by Faika Kabir. There were group songs also presented at the event. Participants were Juthi, Momo, Raisa, Meem, Maliha and Hea. The solo singer was Rokeya. Kobita sang “Bangla Amar Bangladesh” directed by Farzin Kabir who is the owner of Charro kontha and General secretary of Brooklyn Bangladesh Business Association and Brooklyn Women’s Association. Shireen Ullah who is also owner of Anushilan and president of the Brooklyn Women’s Association. Participants are Shanu, Juthi, Niloy, Krisno and more. The first part ended with “Dhono Dhanne Pushpe Bhora” directed by Rina Ahmed. The second part started with the talent show organized by Kids PDD Tacklers Inc directed by M. Mahab who also is owner of organization. There were dance students who performed their dance; there were three judges to see how they were doing. The judges were Professor Kabir, Shireen Ullah and Teacher Rina Ahmed. The talent show had trivia questions for every kid present at the event about national identity. The third part had every women play the game called musical pillow. Everyone who participated in the event was awarded with certificates for talent show. And children under the age of 7 were given tows. Members of executive communities of Brooklyn Bangladesh Business Association handed the gifts out to the participants.
