BROOKLYN BOROUGH HALL GOLDEN APPLE AWARD CELEBRATION

New York : On April 26, 2016 Brooklyn Borough President Eric L. Adams announced his plans to celebrate Earth Week at Brooklyn Borough Hall. It was the celebration of Brooklyn’s 2016 Golden Apple Award Winning Schools. Guest speakers at the event were Diana Reyna the Deputy Brooklyn Borough President; Ms Kevin O’Sullivan from NYC Department Of Sanitation Meredith McDermott from the Department of Education was also present. The Program was hosted By Office of Brooklyn Borough presidents Mr. Jeff Lowell .The program started 4:30 pm and ended at 6:00. Mohammad Mahab was present at the event representing Kids PDD Tacklers Inc. and he participated in the activities at this event. The schools that were given awards to were: PS 146, Kings Highway Academy, Received Reduce and Reuse and golden Shovel Award Brownsville Academy High School, New Voices School of Academic received team up to Clean up Award and Creative Arts, Evergreen Middle School for Urban Explorations were given an award among many others for the great work students had shown in the schools.
