Meng to speak at Democratic National Convention
UsaNewsOnline.Com Desk : U.S. Congresswoman Grace Meng (D-Queens) will briefly speak at the Democratic National Convention this week in Philadelphia.
Meng will address the convention on Wednesday as part of a speaking slot with other Asian American and Pacific Islander Members of Congress. Meng is slated to speak for approximately one minute.
“It is an honor to have been selected to address the convention alongside several of my colleagues,” said Meng. “This will be my first Democratic National Convention and I am looking forward to an exciting four days, and helping Hillary Clinton become the next President of the United States.”
The speaking slot is scheduled for late afternoon on Wednesday.
