Attorney General Candidate Letitia “Tish” James Statement on SCOTUS Nominee Hearings
USANEWSONLINE.COM DESK, NEW YORK — In response to the sexual assault allegations against Supreme Court Justice nominee Brett Kavanaugh and the related hearings, Attorney General Candidate Letitia “Tish” James released the following statement: “Now that Dr. Ford has said she’s willing to testify on her very serious allegations against Judge Kavanaugh, I urge the Senate Judiciary Committee to give her a full and fair hearing before a vote is taken on his nomination. It’s been 27 years since the Anita Hill hearings and we need to make sure we don’t see a repeat of the way senators conducted themselves then with the nation watching.
