We’ll liberate IOK or Perish : Azad Kashmir PM

Mohammad Zainal Abedin : “We will either liberate IOK or perish” declared Azad Kashmir PM.

The Prime Minister (PM) of the State of Azad Jammu & Kashmir Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider Khan said,  we will ousts Indian occupation army and liberate   IOK (India Occupied Kashmir) at any cost or perish.

He was addressing the journalists, human rights activists and Kashmiris living in the US on the night of August 23 at K2 Delights restaurant of Diversity Plaza of Jackson Heights, New York.

The Azad Jammu & Kashmir PM said, I am here to meet the people and to inform our grievances to the world community. We struggle for a just cause, the cause of the survival of the Kashmiris.

Narrating the horrific situation in the IOK, he said, Modi turned the whole IOK into a prison cell. The Kashmiris are under curfew for the last 20 days. They are disconnected from the rest of the world. They are deprived of normal telecommunication, internet facility, print and electronic media services. All Kashmiris are under blockade. They suffer from a shortage of food, medicine, and other daily necessities.

He said, availing the curfew, communication and media blackout, Indian occupation forces lifted away over six thousand Kashmiri young people to unknown destinations. Their respective parents, wives and near ones don’t know whether they are dead or still alive.

He informed India deployed about one million regular army personnel other than the equal number of other paramilitaries in IOK to crush the Kashmiris.

The pm showed video after video to prove the atrocities of the Indian forces in IOK.

He demanded that India should be compelled to allow the fact-finding missions to investigate the extreme violations of human rights in IOK.

Expressing his firm determination, the PM said, despite grave human rights violation and annihilation, we will continue our struggle and resistance to liberate Kashmir.

 Branding Modi as the Hitler of South Asia, Azad Jammu & Kashmir PM said, Modi is the exponent of the ultra-communal extremist RSS. His dress and his policy expose the moto and agenda of RSS. Modi does the same what Hitler of Germany did.  

Cautioning the international community the PM said, Hitler first invaded Poland when the then international community remained mum. Hitler took that invasion as a test case. The silence of the then other world powers encouraged him to invade counties after countries that led to the Second World War that killed about hundreds of millions of people and the world experienced the curse of the atom bomb.

So there is no room for the international community to play the role of silent spectators that will simply fuel Modi to take over other neighboring countries one after another, he added.

So Modi needs to be bridled. Modi’s actions in Kashmir are provocative, he said and added, any conventional war between India and Pakistan centering Kashmir will lead to a nuclear war that will destruct not only India and Pakistan, but also the whole world will seriously be affected.

When asked why the Muslim countries don’t come forward favoring the freedom struggle of the Kashmiri people he said, many countries are not ruled by the real the representatives of the people. These countries seek their business interests.  Every country wants to sell their products. This is the main problem of liberating Kashmir.

 “So they don’t openly support the just cause of the Kashmiris,” he added.

He said western democracies, at least, feels the state of human rights violation in the IOK. And they also don’t extend the required support to the Kashmiris for their commercial and strategic interests.

Replying another question he said, India will change the demography of Kashmir to turn the Muslims to a minority community. He added, Indians already declared to forcibly marry the Kashmiri girls or rape them.

When questioned whether the PM supports the independence of IOK he said, UN resolution allows the Kashmiri people to decide which country they opt to join — Pakistan or India. So it is them to decide.

When asked what you will do if none comes to your side, he said, “We will continue our struggle and oust the Indian occupation army. We will either liberate Kashmir or perish.”

Earlier Agha Saleh, a Pakistan-origin American who is regarded as an expert on International Affairs and a vocal advocate of NYC Diversity plaza, welcomed the PM and his Cabinet  Minister   Ahmed Raza Qadri at Diversity Plaza.

In his brief address of welcome, Agha Saley remembering the American War of Liberation said, American people fought to liberate their country. So it is their moral duty to extend their support to the liberation war of the Kashmiries.

Condemning Modi’s unilateral steps, he said, Modi bypassed and defamed the UN and the global leaders, including President Donald Trump.

Lastly, Agha Saleh recited a poem titled, “The Holocaust of the East” composed by Fatima a college student where she condemned Modi for his brutal atrocities in IOK.
