Throughout his banking career he has held various sales and leadership roles in four prominent banks including Citibank, Chase and Amalgamated bank- where he consistently met organizational goals and established vision in continuously changing environments.

In 2013, Ismail joined HAB bank to help develop their newly built branch in Richmond Hill, NY- where he developed his passion for Commercial Real Estate financing. Within a short period of time Ismail had generated over $200MM on Commercial Real Estate loan assets and over $50MM in deposit for the bank. He has done it by acquiring and retaining pool of talented
people, and by building and maintaining relationship with local businesses, real estate professionals, NGOs, local government and community organizations.
Besides banking, Ismail acquired, managed and/or partnered in several businesses where he developed day to day operations, P&L management, budget analysis, equity and debt structuring, employee and management training to setting up overall business model. One of the business he owned was a highly popular restaurant in Jackson Heights, NY. Ismail is also
active in commercial real estate investment and development where he currently owns 14 rental units under his portfolio.
Ismail moved to USA from Bangladesh in 1994. He completed his bachelor’s degree in finance from CUNY Queens College and obtained various finance and banking related certifications.
Ismail was named top Bangladeshi banker by “Young Bangladeshi professionals of NYC” three years in a row in 2004-2007. He also had an article- “banking for aspiring entrepreneurs” published on three local business publications in 2008.
