Bangladesh Ambassador Ziauddin Departs
Shamim Ahmad, Washington D.C.: Ambassador Mohammad Ziauddin left here Tuesday for Dhaka, ending his nearly six and half years’ tenure as Bangladesh Ambassador to the United States.
Chargé d’ affaires of Bangladesh embassy Ms. Ferdousi Shahriar saw him and Mrs. Yasmin Ziauddin off at Dulles Airport.
All officers, their spouses and employees of the embassy and the Consul General of New York were present at the airport.
Ambassador M Shahidul Islam is expected to arrive in the U.S. capital on January 8 to take up his new assignment as Bangladesh Ambassador to the United States.
