Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Bangladesh Mr. Masud Bin Momen Presented Credentials to the President of Peru Mr. Pedro Pablo Kuczynski

UsaNewsOnline Desk, New York : Mr. Masud Bin Momen, Permanent Representative of Bangladesh to the United Nations in New York and the Ambassador of Bangladesh to Peru with residence in New York presented 22 May his credentials to the President of Peru, Mr. Pedro Pablo Kuczynski at the Presidential Palace in Lima. Mr. Richardo Luna , Foreign Minister of Peru was also present on the occasion. Prior to  presentation of his credentials, Ambassador Masud attended the ceremonial ‘Guard of Honor’. 

 Ambassador Masud greeted the President of Peru for the acceptance of his credentials. He conveyed the best wishes of the President and Prime Minister of Bangladesh to the President of Peru. He stated that Bangladesh is keen in promoting friendly relations with Peru based on shared values of democracy, development and social justice. He stressed in this regard that the geographic barrier should never stand in the way of growing friendship and promoting trade relations between the two countries. He applauded Peru’s achievements in social and economic sectors particularly in socio-economic development under his leadership. 

Ambassador Masud briefed the President the recent economic progress of Bangladesh under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

The Ambassadors of 14 countries presented their credentials to the President Mr. Pedro Pablo Kuczynski of Peru on the same day.

Ambassador extended an invitation to the President to visit Bangladesh at a time convenient to him. Press Release
