New York :- Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at 7:00 more than 169 Citizen Police officers graduated in the Police Academy in a ceremony held at the One Police Plaza, Auditorium Manhattan, New York Last night. Organized by Hon, Bill De Blasio, Mayor, City of New York with The Collaboration Hon. James P.O’Neill, Police Commissioner the Program Started As per schedule Introduction provided By Lt. Tony Giorgio, Ceremonial Unit, then National Anthem lead by P.O Tyler Abelson, Remarks By the Hon. Police Commissioner Mr James P.O’Neill Elected officials, NYPD executives, NYPD First Deputy Commissioner, Chief of Department Carlos M.Gomez, Deputy Commissioner of Training Dr.Tracie l.Keesee, Executive Director of Training Mr. Richard Glover, Commanding Officer of police academy Assistant Chief Theresa J.Shortell, Commanding Officer, Recruit Training section and many other officers attended at the Graduation. Also loved ones gathered to celebrate the momentous occasion. Deputy Police Commissioner presided over the celebration and congratulated all those who received graduation on their outstanding achievements. Graduating class includes officers from over 5 different boroughs in New York City who speak many different languages. Mr Mohammad Mahab Ul Who recently Graduated and received Academic Certificate. These new Gradate will carry out the NYPD’s mission to continue driving down crime in New York City while connecting with the communities they serve. Here are a few pictures.
