New York : “I am outraged that Republican committee members voted to confirm Betsy DeVos and turn their back on our children,” said NYC Council Education Committee Chairperson Daniel Dromm (D-Jackson Heights, Elmhurst), who taught in the NYC public school system for over 25 years. “DeVos has made no secret of her contempt for public education and has sought to undermine it at every turn.
