Launching Ceremony of BDeshTV (www.bdeshtv.com) on 26th March

New York: Minister for Information and Cultural Affairs  Abul Kalam Azad is expected to  grace the official launching ceremony of BDeshTV (www.bdeshtv.com), a 24-hour NRB Online & OnDemand TV,   and its state-of-the-art online video platform OVI+ in Austin, Texas on Saturday, March 26th  as the Chief Guest on the occasion of the 40th Independence Day of Bangladesh.

Since its Beta launch on Dec 16, 2010, BDeshTV has been extremely well received globally among viewers, producers and media experts. It is already getting excellent viewership in USA, Japan, South Korea, Australia, Italy and 70 other countries. It ties NRBs worldwide into a vibrant platform to learn, share and collaborate using Online TV, Facebook and Twitter.

The opening ceremony will be broadcast live from Mexican-American Cultural Center in downtown Austin from 7:00pm-11:00pm at www.bdeshtv.com. It  will have a short presentation on BDeshTV, speeches by the Chief guest and other dignitaries, performances by NRB artistes and featured presentation by renowned singers.
