MRP & MRV Services Launched at the High Commission of Bangladesh in Abuja, Nigeria
UsaNewsOnline.Com Desk : MRP (Machine Readable Passport) & MRV (Machine Readable Visa) services were launched this week at the High Commission of Bangladesh in Abuja, Nigeria. H.E. Mr. Md. Shameem Ahsan,ndc, Bangladesh High Commissioner to Nigeria handed over Machine Readable Visas to two Nigerian nationals on 25 June, 2018 while one expatriate Bangladesh national received digital enrollment papers for MRP on 26 June, 2018. Visiting members (five) of the delegation from the Department of the Immigration and Passports (DIP), Dhaka, Officers and Officials of the High Commission and few members of the community, among others, were present. This follows establishment of the High Commission in Nigeria in November 2016.
Expatriate nationals as well as the foreign service-seekers appreciated the initiative of the High Commission in line with the policy priority of the Government for a “Digital Bangladesh”. Press Release
