NYIC Action Endorses Immigrant Champions and New Voices for NYS Legislature

USANewsOnline.Com Desk, New York – Today, NYIC Action, the 501(c)4 sister organization of the New York Immigration Coalition, announced its endorsements for the New York State Senate and State Assembly in the June 2026 primary elections, following a New York State budget cycle that underscored the urgent need for immigrant protections.

Our slate includes our elected champions who are already fighting alongside us to advance equity, dignity, and justice in the face of escalating right-wing fear-mongering and federal attacks on New Yorkers. We are also proud to endorse a new generation of candidates who will bring fresh energy, bold leadership, and lived experience into the halls of power in Albany’s State Capitol.

These endorsements come as a growing majority of New York voters believe the United States is heading in the wrong direction on immigration policy enforcement and oppose the way ICE is attacking our communities. New York must elect leaders prepared to defend immigrant families and build a state where all New Yorkers can thrive.
