Student group from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill visits Bangladesh Embassy
USA NEWS: A group of students from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill visited the Embassy of Bangladesh on March 8. The student group was led by Ambassador William H. Itoh, Director of Washington International Programs of the University.The undergrad students – majoring in disciplines such as Political Science, International Relations and Economics- were briefed on Bangladesh: Governance and Foreign Relations. A documentary highlighting the rich cultural heritage and major tourist attractions in Bangladesh was presented to the students. Md. Jashim Uddin, Deputy Chief of Mission, CDA a.i. of the Embassy welcomed the students and gave the briefing session which was also attended by other officials. MJH Jabed, First Secretary at the Embassy, made a power point presentation. This event was hosted as a part of the Embassy’s educational outreach programme.
