Summer Networking BBQ Event Hosted by Bangladeshi-American Society of Professionals
UsaNewsOnline.Com Desk, New York : Bangladeshi-American Society of Professionals (BSP) Inc., a newly established non-profit working with Bangladeshi professionals in USA, recently organized a summer networking bbq event at the city’s Roosevelt Island. More than 50 professionals and college students attended the event and participated in various activities


throughout the day. The President of BSP, Imtiaz R. Chowdhury, noted that the purpose was to provide an informal networking opportunity for the members in a friendly and cosy environment. It is hosted as part of the broader goal of BSP, which is to create an active networking platform for the Bangladeshi-American professionals. He also stated that BSP is commencing a mentoring program for college students shortly, where students will be paired up with professionals based on their academic backgrounds and career interests. Kamrul Khan and Sadia K will be coordinating the mentoring program. Mr. Chowdhury urged the college students and professionals to join BSP through Facebook and LinkedIn groups, and avail the free career development services provided by the organization.
