The Annual General Meeting of the JBBA will be held on November 21

UsaNewsOnline.Com Desk, New York : A special, emergency meeting composed of the Jackson Heights Bangladeshi Business Association of NY-JBBA advisory committee with their executive committee was held at Chung Pie Restaurant on November 6, 2017 at 9:00 pm. The five members of the advisory committee met with the fifteen members of the executive committee to discuss issues pertinent to the committee’s agenda, including, but not limited to: the membership drive, election date, and the date of the annual general meeting. The meeting was presided over by senior advisory member, Kazi Montu. The minutes of the meeting were as follows:

First, the committee conducted a doa (prayer) for the quick recovery of health of ex-president, Mr. Syed Rahman Mannan.

Second, it was unanimously decided that the annual general meeting of the JBBA will be held on November 21, 2017.

Lastly, the deadline for new membership was extended to November 30, 2017.

The meeting was concluded cordially. Both committees thanked each other and resolved to follow through the resolutions in a timely matter.
