The Joy of Ramadan with all religions in Brooklyn

New York : On June 29 there was an Iftar Event Which was organized By the Bangladeshi American Center of North America BACONA. This was organized by three Young Community activist Moinul Alam, Mohammad Mahab and Mian Swapan who were Main Organizer of the Program. The program started at 7:00 pm Welcoming Remarks by the Imam Abul Qasim Khalilullah from Darul Zannah Masjid and Recitation From Holly Quran by Yusuf Imran young and talented kid. The guest of honor Diana Sanzone also spoke briefly along with Chief of Guest Brad Lander (Councilman of District 39). Also present was Ms Laura from Neighborhood Plaza Partnership. Iftar was served to everyone who attended the program. Prayer was held soon after adhan in the open field. This was the first time and Iftar program was held at a public ground with many others of various other faiths in New York City. This is a very remarkable time for the community to work together from various religions. This gives children of all faiths to learn about Islam and the holy month of Ramadan. Ahsanul Haque, Community Board Member Ms Ani Ferdous and Many, Spanish, Latino, Arab, Indian, Italian and Pakistani Community Leaders Including Bangladeshi Community Activist was present at the Avenue C Plaza Open Space, which is the corner of Avenue C and McDonald Avenue, Brooklyn, New York.
