Bangladeshi Origin American Zinnat Ferdous Won The 2022 NYC Ringmasters

Zinnat Ferdous : Recently I won the 2022 NYC Ringmasters, a major boxing tournament for amateur boxers. Winning this championship qualified me to fight in the National Golden Gloves in Oklahoma where I went all the way to the finals. It was a

long and hard road that started at Mendez Boxing gym 3 years ago. Along the way I started training with Danny Nicholas and Colin Morgan both of whom were instrumental in helping me learn the sport and its many fine details. At this point I have

fallen in love with the sport and all the things it has taught me about myself that I would have had no way of knowing unless I trained and fought as hard as I did. I think that there’s a strength in many people that we don’t realize is even there unless we push ourselves to new limits and by facing adversity. Sports like boxing can teach such valuable lessons and I would encourage anyone to try it.“
