USANEWSONLINE.COM, QUEENS, NY – Borough President Melinda Katz will hold a regular Public Hearing on Land Use.  Items on the agenda include:

1.      Application submitted on behalf of 39-01 QB LLC for a waiver of the Rules of Procedure, an extension of time to obtain a Certificate of Occupancy, an amendment to a previous approval and an extension of term for a Special Permit previously approved to allow a physical culture establishment within an M1-4 District in Queens Community District 2.

Address of location is 39-01 Queens Boulevard in Sunnyside.

  1. Application submitted on behalf of White Castle System, Inc., for a Special Permit to allow an eating and drinking establishment with an accessory drive-thru within a C1-2/R4 District in Queens Community District 3.

Address of location is 88-02 Northern Boulevard in Jackson Heights.

  1. Application submitted on behalf of White Castle System, Inc., for a Special Permit to allow an eating and drinking establishment with an accessory drive-thru facility within a C1-2/R6 District in Queens Community District 4.

Address of location is 89-03 57th Avenue in Elmhurst.

  1. Application submitted on behalf of HW LIC One LLP for a Special Permit to allow a building in an R6/C2-3 District in Queens Community District 2 that exceeds the maximum height allowable in the flight obstruction path area for LaGuardia Airport.

7.      Application submitted on behalf of 18-17 130th Street LLC and 18-19 130th Street LLC to modify the front yard requirements of Zoning Resolution Section 126-331 (Minimum required front yards), and the side yard requirements of Zoning Resolution Section 126-232 (Minimum required side yards) in connection with a proposed two-story enlargement of an existing one-story warehouse building within an M1-1 District within the Special College Point District in Queens Community District 7.

  1.
