UsaNewsOnline.Com Desk, 12 June 2016 : Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has expressed profound shock at the deadly terrorist attack at a community club in Orlando, Florida early Sunday leaving 50 people killed and many wounded.

In a letter of condolence to US President Barack Obama, Prime Minister Hasina strongly condemned the dastardly act of terror and reiterated her government’s policy of ‘zero tolerance’ against any form of terrorism and violent extremism.

“My Government and People stand shoulder to shoulder with your Government and the friendly people of the United States of America at this difficult hour and renew our commitment to work together with you as partners to counter terrorism and violent extremism that have emerged as threats to human civilization,“ the Prime Minister said.

Sheikh Hasina said terrorists must be regarded as terrorists regardless of their colour, creed, origin or orientation. “Let us redouble our collective efforts to eradicate these hateful menaces from our peace loving societies.”

She conveyed her deepest sympathy to the members of the families of these ill-fated victims and to the people of the United States of America. “With every life lost in terror, our heart bleeds in pain and grief,” said Hasina. Press Release.
