Sponsored by the permanent Mission of Panama and kingdom of Cambodia to the united Nations Dr. Mary Shuttle worth, Founder and President of Youth for Human Rights International, introduced the panelists who addressed important aspects of the state of human rights and human rights education: Ambassador Mahmud Saikal,
Permanent Representative of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to the United Nations; Ambassador Michael Grant, Deputy Permanent Representative of Canada to the United Nations; and Nobel Laureate and former President of Costa Rica Dr. Oscar Arias Snchez.The Ambassadors of Panama and Cambodia announced their partnership with Youth for Human Rights. The current generation of youth is the largest in history and is critical actors in conflict prevention and sustaining peace. young human rights activists representing about 42 nations attended the 14th annual Human Rights Summit at the United Nations from Aug. 24 to 27., at United Nations Headquarters in New York. Among the 360 people attending were ambassadors and other representatives of the permanent missions to the UN including Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bahrain, Canada, Cuba, Cyprus, Equatorial Guinea, France, Ghana, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Panama, Romania, Sri Lanka, and Turkey for Best performance Mohammad M Mahab received the leadership certificate from the international youth human rights organization like other delegate ,Ambassador and representative of members country those who attended at united nation , On the second day of the Summit, also hosted by the U.N., two panels presented important human rights issues to the youth delegates and those attending.
The emphasis of the first panel was human trafficking42 Nations Represented at Annual Human Rights Youth Summit at the U.N.There were performances by local artists and by Miss New York 2016 Camille Sims and Wil Seabrook, founder of Rock for Human Rights. Youthdelegates and directors of Youth for Human Rights chapters from the Congo, Nepal, Taiwan, and Venezuela made presentations on their activities. Youth delegates exchanged information on their successful actions and networked on resources others can use to accomplish their programs. There were also workshops and training sessions on skills to help the delegates become even more confident and effective in their activities. Youth delegates returned home equipped with the tools they need to accomplish their human rights plans for their zones. The3 day international youth Human rights program which ended august, 26th, 2017 at united nation head quarter in New York it was also declared next international youth human rights summit will be held on 2018 at presidential palace in Washington DC.
