US envoy pays respect to Bangabandhu
GOPALGANJ, Aug 1, 2019 (BSS) – US ambassador to Bangladesh Earl R. Miller paid respect to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by placing wreaths at his mausoleum at Tungipara, Gopalganj today.
“I feel proud to be here for the first time to pay respect to the Father
of the Nation,” said Miller while talking to reporters after paying homage to
Bangabandhu.
Senior officials of local administration and police were present.
Miller will visit Baniarchar Church in Muksudpur upazila Friday morning.
