ABCC holds seminar on US-Bangladesh Trade & Investment

UsaNewsOnline.Com Desk, New York :  A seminar on “UNGA Sideline Business Seminar 2019: US-Bangladesh Trade & Investment: Role of Bangladeshi Americans” was jointly organized by America Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce (ABCC) and the Centre for NRB in the Hall room of LaGuardia Marriott Hotel, New York, USA on Thursday evening, Sep. 26, 2019.

Speakers in the seminar said that Bangladeshi NRB in USA should invest in their home country to develop the nation. They also emphasized on talents for different kind of remittance as Bangladesh government has set the target to become the middle-income country by the year 2021. NRBs said that we should realize that if new generation of NRB reduces sending remittances to the country what will happen. To speed up the achievement regarding SDG, The NRBs must invest their talents and money in Bangladesh. Speakers also showed the benefits of the NRB investments both for the BD and USA.

Welcome Speech was delivered by Md. Liton Ahmed, Secretary General & CEO, ABCC and Z I Russell, ABCC, USA gave a vote of thanks. Tasriqul Islam Nibir also was present.
