ENOUGH IS ENOUGH

Nazmun: What’s going on with Grameen Bank and the founding professor Yunus is obvious sign of corruption that is going on at highest level of Prime Minister Hasina’s administration. Now she wants to make the Grameen Bank her family property, rob the money and divide within her family members. She is after professor Yunus because he is old. That is nonsense. By the way how old is Donald Trump? Warren Buffet? Bill Gates? A scholar is always a scholar no matter how old he is; as they grow older they are even better with experience. Professor Yunus can serve his bank, his people as long as he can and people should appreciate it. On the contrary what is going on here? A lot of people are not surprised because that is all they have been seeing in Bangladesh for long time. The country is under the shadow of corrupted administrations years after years. The political power changes but same people come over, and over, and over. They don’t have anything to offer but to suck the blood of poor people and make their own bank balances bigger and bigger and spread illegally earned wealth all around the world so nobody can track it.

And how old is the prime minister?  How many times she came to power? Do you think she has anything at all to offer to the Bangladeshi people?  I don’t think so, I don’t believe so.

Bangladesh is one of the most corrupted countries in the world. Let me say it another way, it’s not the county that is corrupted it’s the current administration and the political party. The politicians and their families are choking the country and the people out of air. The corruption is at every level you name it. Millions of university graduates do not have any jobs public or private. You have to bribe administration officials for any job even if you are a qualified person. No qualification is necessary if you can bribe the officials. All my adult life I have been seeing the two persons coming into power, quarreling with each other and dividing the country’s wealth within themselves. They need to stop. One person can NOT be prime minister or president for more than two terms. Nobody should be allowed to stay in power longer than two terms. By staying longer in power they do corruption at every level and by doing so they stay longer. It’s time for CHANGE. Look around the world. Do you see CHANGE? It’s time for Bangladeshi youth and people to wake up and DEMAND CHANGE in CONSTITUTION so that a person CAN NOT be prime minister or president for more than two terms. Because after two terms they don’t have anything to offer but do corruption and other wicked things.

IMAGINE a democratic Bangladesh where a prime minister changes every five or ten years. I would like to see bright, talented, charismatic, and visionaries as prime minister and conform Bangladesh into a brilliant place to live.
