GRAND OPENING OF SOUTH ASIAN ORGANIZATION SACO AMERICA INC

NEW YORK: On Friday August 23rd, 2013, the grand opening of SACO America was held. It was held at Anushilan center.  The program began at 6:00 pm in the evening at 61 Church Avenue, Brooklyn New York. Mr. M. Mahab who is the founder member of the South Asian Community Organization America organized the program. Saco’s first initial launch was on June 30^th 2012 with the presence of The Honorable Congresswomen Ms. Yvette D. Clarke. On 8/23/13 honorable SACO founding member & Director Ms. Shireen Ullah presided over the Executive director’s  board meting. She talked about beginning  its journey in SACO America, inc. Other members of different organizations and members of SACO America  clapped and appreciated her comments and advice in term of the opening of South Asian Community Organization America in New York.

The program was hosted by the founder & executive director of SACO, Mr. M. Mahab  who is also president of KIDS PDD Tacklers, Inc and is joint secretary of CMBBA. He discussed the goals and details about SACO America. He stated the organization is non political and Not-for profit organization. Section 501(C)3 which is filed on 8/20/13 by the president of the organization M. Z. Haque  The purposes for which the Corporation is formed are as set forth in the Articles of Incorporation as:

(1) SACO will Help new south asian immigrants with and basic computer knowledge and will promote understanding and appreciations of Social cultural ethnic customs especially Health, food, cloth, education, shelter, dream and actuation.

(2) SACO will Assist new immigrant parents that have children with disabilities from birth to 3 years. It will  also help immigrants  for the Civil Service Examinations of New York State, City and other agencies by finding and applying for suitable jobs.
(3)  SACO will help elderly with English language and immigrants with socializing   recreational opportunities like watching TV, reading news papers, operating computers and play indoor games, arrange short trips to different places in the city to help new immigrants understand cultural diversity in the United States. 

Executive director & Founder of SACO Mr. M Mahab stated In the beginning his speech the Corporation has  (15) Founding Directors. Those founding Directors, make up the Supreme Governing Body of the Corporation. Mr.M. Z. Haque (Dipon ) President of SACO who is also founding member  announced his plans and prospects for the years ahead.   M. Mahab  then called on to stage all the other founding members and staff to introduce and present themselves to the audience. The members and staff talked about what they have achieved in life and their activity towards the community and in United State of America. Mr. Mahab is very well known in the community, he has been working with disabled children for more then a decade. He is currently the president of Kids PDD tacklers Inc, he is also member of United Nation volunteering  organization and Autism society of America. Though SACO was established earlier this year in 2012, SACO America started its journey on Saturday June 30^th, 2012. Like every organization they all made for a purpose. SACO was created to increase community growth. SACO would also raise public awareness to generate movements to create a more stabilized and organized community hub. This would help elevate the community itself to stand above other community organizations, which exist. Saco was also created for better services & welfare for the community along with 7 SAARC countries including Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri lanka.

Eng. Ahsanul Hoque chief Advisor of SACO  was present at the opening ceremony as a chief guest. Among 15 other directors  were present  at the SACO meting. Of the members of the executive committee were the executive director, officers and advisors. Ms. Rakiba Farzeen, President and CEO from Charrokontho, Associate Financial director Mr. Mohammaed Shikder  from President Clear view inc.  Public relation  director  IT Eng. Simon Mahmud. Housing & Food   director Mr. Sayed Rahman, religion   director    Ms. Shahana  Mausm, NYC case manager and Media & press   director Mr. M. Azim Uddin from Bangla vision, Marketing & training   director Mr. Masud Rana, marketing Manager from ACN & Communication   director Mr. Rezaul H Choudhury. From Bronx Reality, international affairs   director Ms. Chandini Pinila  BOE teacher. All the people above  participated in the opening of SACO America and gave a brief speech at the conference about his or her goals and plans of SACO America. Everyone who was involved in SACO American Conference is welcomed to the program. The program ended when Executive Director  of SACO America M. Mahab  who thanked everyone for attending and everyone who participated in the opening.
