STATEMENT FROM BRONX BOROUGH PRESIDENT DIAZ RE: President Trump’s Actions on Temporary Protected Status
UsanewsOnline.Com Desk, Bronx, New York : “The Trump Administration’s decision to end Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for thousands of refugees from El Salvador, Haiti and Nicaragua is cruel and unnecessary.
“To turn our backs on hundreds of thousands of people that have built their life here and have make great contributions to this nation without offering a real alternative is madness, and shows an utter lack of compassion and caring for our fellow human beings. TPS should not be weaponized as a list to deport and divide families,” said Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. Press Release.
