STATEMENT FROM BRONX BOROUGH PRESIDENT DIAZ RE: Senate Passage of the Trump Tax Bill
UsaNewsOnline.Com Desk, Bronx : “The Trump administration and the Republican-led Congress have partnered to pass a new tax law that is a disaster for the people of New York City.
“This new law eliminates local deductions and the ability to deduct medical expenses, both of which will only increase the burden on those who are struggling to get by.
“A rushed, hyper-partisan tax plan that benefits the superrich at the expense of the sick is not what this city and this nation deserve,” said Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. Press Release.
