ASAAL Queens Iftar and Dua event

UsaNewsOnline.Com Desk, New York : Congratulations to ASAAL Queens Chapter for Iftar (break fasting) and Dua (invocation) event Saturday where many Community leaders like Morshed Alam, one of the pioneer of bringing our community to the mainstream politics, and Fakhrul Islam Delwar, Queens Community Board 8 Member spoke and appreciated the work ASAAL is doing all over the nation! 
Queens Chapter President Professor Monirul Islam, President emeritus Jahangir Nagar University Alumni Association president the meeting while delivered welcome address. Mohammed Shabul Uddin, Executive Director ASAAL Queens Chapter in his brief speech describe how ASAAL made a two way Street to a oneway Street in front of Jamaica Muslim Center, how ASAAL created 1st Halal Senior Center also at Jamaica Muslim Center and how ASAAL added Bengali on New York City Ballot and hired hundreds of South Asians, including Bangladeshi to work on Election Day across the City.

 
National President Maf Misbah Uddin said stated a verse from Holy Quran which gives our purpose on earth “You are indeed the best community that has ever been brought forth for mankind: you enjoin what is right and forbid the doing of what is wrong”. We must vote in every election to preserve our culture, our religion, and our freedom”. He then invited everyone to join us on January 11, 2019 in Georgia as first ASAAL life member and National Adviser Sheikh Rahman taking the oath of the Office as the Senator of the Red State of Georgia!

The event was run by the master of ceremony Nurul Haque who is the Executive Vice President of ASAAL Queens Chapter. He was accompanied by the Vice Presidents Shah Ahmed and Omar Faruque Khasru; National Women’s Committee Chair Sahana Begum, New York City Election Commission member Mazeda A Uddin, ASAAL Bronx Chapter President Tahmeedul Haque, Secretary Muzammel Hossain Murad, Executive Director Nashir Uddin, Vice President AlaUddin and many more.
