Bangladesh Embassy in Washington DC launches a new look and user-friendly website

USA NEWS:“Resourceful and user-friendly web portals of the government offices can remarkably improve the quality of public services and enhance governmental accountability. An user-friendly website can be a very useful tool for effective interaction between service providers and their clientele.”

Bangladesh Ambassador to the USA and State Minister Akramul Qader made the above observations September 13 while launching a new look website of the Embassy of Bangladesh in Washington at his office in presence of Embassy officials. A new insertion in the website(www.bdembassyusa.org)  is a database corner for the Bangladeshis living in the USA. Ambassador Qader expressed hope that all members of Bangladesh Diaspora in the USA would furnish information for an updated online database. He said that the purpose of maintaining an updated database of Bangladesh nationals in the USA is to provide more expeditious consular services in future.  Ambassador Qader noted that Government web portals need to be transformed into a valuable window to flow information between the government and the people what the present government envisions through its programme of “Digital Bangladesh”.
