Mozena in completion of his pledge to visit all 64 districts

Staff Reporter: US Ambassador in Dhaka Dan Mozena starts his six-day tour on Tuesday to visit Comilla, Feni, Noakhali, Lakshmipur, and Chandpur.

With the culmination of this trip, Ambassador Mozena will fulfill his pledge to visit all 64 districts in Bangladesh.

During the visit, Ambassador Mozena and US Agency for International Development (USAID) Mission Director Janina Jaruzelski will meet with local government officials, police superintendents, and civil society members and will visit some of the cultural and historical sites of the region.

He will also visit the Shalban Vihara in Comilla, a women’s handicraft project in Basur Haat, and a pottery village.

Additionally, Ambassador Mozena will visit USAID projects in the area and some educational institutions.thebangladeshtoday
