NAVA PAC is committed to empowering New Americans and protecting the rights of immigrants. Established in 2008, NAVA PAC is dedicated to increasing immigrant turnout in local, state, and federal elections. To do so, NAVA utilizes specially targeted ethnic media and outreach focused on new American voters from underrepresented communities.

NAVA believes Ms. Crowley, a former New York City Council Member with a history of fighting against injustice and corruption is well-equipped to bring improvement to the Borough of Queens. Specifically, NAVA proudly supports her plans for more accessible transportation throughout the borough, safer communities and improved educational opportunities, with a special emphasis on diversity and inclusion.
President of NAVA Dilip Nath stated, “Elizabeth Crowley has the firsthand knowledge and experience to make Queens livable for all. She will fight for our fair share, stand for our public schools, build more affordable housing and bring ends to the transportation desert in Queens. She has shown a community-centered approach to leadership during her entire distinguished career in public service and she has always listened to new American and immigrant communities. The New American Voters Association enthusiastically endorses her.”
NAVA’s Political Director Gideon Dunkley said, “As a member of Team NAVA I have had the distinct opportunity to observe Elizabeth Crowley in different community settings as well as listen to her views on many issues that affect the diverse Queens communities. I wholeheartedly believe that she is a hardworking, dedicated person who will no doubt fulfill her campaign promises to provide decent housing, transportation, quality healthcare, education and jobs for the people of Queens County. She has the fighting and winning spirit which I admire. For these reasons and more I wholeheartedly support Elizabeth Crowley for Queens Borough President.”
Elizabeth Crowley remarked, “It is with great honor that I accept NAVA’s endorsement. One of my top priorities as borough president will be to empower the voices of New Americans throughout Queens. Whether it’s appointing individuals from underrepresented communities to community boards or using my pulpit to lift the voices of new Americans, I will always be a friend of our borough’s immigrant population.”
