Srijoni Sangscritic Samsad Celebrated Ekushe February and International Mothers Language Day!!!

UsaNewsOnline.com, New York : Srijony Sangscritic Samsad (SSS) celebrated International Mother’s Language day on Sunday, February 22, 2015 at P.S. 86 Jamaica, New York. The students of Srijony participated in a musical dance drama  named “Rokte Veja Bornomala” . Students also did an art project for “EKUSHE FEBRUARY and International mothers Language Day” organized by the art teacher Kaniz Hosney Akbory. The dance directed and Choreographed by Motiar Rahman, CEO and president of Srijony. Program hosted by Selina Sharmin, program director of Srijony.

The Chief advisor of Shrijony Mr. Farhad Talukder was present at the event and did the opening remarks. On his speech he mentioned that from the beginning since 2008 Srijony has been promoting and practicing the pure Bengali culture in main stream America. Mr. Farthad Talukder also appreciated and thanked the parents for their help, involvement for the event. One of the invited guest Mr. Syed Hossain CEO for Math Matters Turoting Center, Jamaica New York. He mentioned in his speech that Children are our future and we are raising our next generation leader and Srijony is taking a part of this leadership. Another Guest Mr. Syed Mozaffor (Pharmacist) mentioned in his speech that we need to teach and educate our children in proper Bangla language to support our sweet language. In addition, Singer Nasreen Azad mentioned in her speech that we should guide our children to learn our rich and beautiful culture! More than 110 people attended this event.
