BROOKLYN ELECTEDS AND DISTRICT LEADERS ENDORSE LIU FOR MAYOR

NEW YORK, NY – Assemblymember Inez Barron today endorsed John Liu for New York City Mayor.

“New Yorkers need independent and effective leadership who will stand up for communities across the city and tackle the problems of poverty, systemic unemployment, school closings, racial profiling, foreclosures and low paying jobs.  We need immediate change and the best mayoral candidate to offer bold solutions and get things done is John Liu.  As Comptroller, John has leveled the playing field for MWBEs, saved more than $3 Billion of taxpayer dollars that can be used for schools, seniors and housing, and rooted out waste and fraud in city contracts.  John will do much more as Mayor and I wholeheartedly support him.” – ASSEMBLYMEMBER INEZ BARRON, 60th A.D.
