District 37 Celebrated Asian American Heritage

New York :- On Friday May 5, 2017 District 37 Asian American Heritage celebration committee organized a program at DC 37, the program hosted By Rapa Chakra Borty and Sherman Pang Welcome address was given by the chairman of this program was Maf Misbah Uddin, greetings from Henry Garridi, the Executive Director of District 37 and The national leaders including ASAAL Vice President Eng Ahsanul Haque, SACO America founder and president Mohammad M. Mahab, Monir Ahammed and many Chinese, Korean, Thailand celebrities were present at the program. The program started at 6:30 pm and ended 9:30 pm. In recognition of the importance of Asian Pacific Americans within the work force and within the labor movement, the DC 37 Asian Heritage Committee works to unite union members, and to bring to their attention the needs and concerns of Asian Pacific American Workers. Thailand Monara Dance, Asian Indian Bollywood Dance songs, Bangladeshi Musical dance presented to the audience, Mr. Khan Showkot demonstrated a magic show for the audience everyone Enjoyed, wonderful dinner was served after the program.
