SAAVOICE STANDS WITH THE NATION AGAINST UNREASONABLE USE OF POLICE FORCE AGAINST CIVILIANS AND VIOLENCE AGAINST LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS

New York : We (SAAVOICE) are saddened and horrified, and are grieving the losses of two civilian lives at the hands of the Police on Thursday, July 7 in Louisiana and Minnesota.  SAAVOICE stands with the nation in these dark times as we see an upsurge of unreasonable use of police force against civilians, and is particularly concerned about the disparate treatment of civilians in our criminal justice system.
While we must balance the rights of the civilians with the safety of and enforcement by police officers, we are equally devastated by and condemn the systematic, intentional and brutal killing of five (5) Dallas police officers who were on duty at the demonstration held on Thursday night.  Our nation is grieving and we must all bind together against all forms of violence.  We stand with the African-American community, the law enforcement community and police departments across the nation, and offer our condolences and prayers for the victims and families of these tragic losses.
Let us honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and his legacy of tolerance, peace, respect, love, and unity, non- violence and stand together to support our brothers and sisters who seek out humanity in each of us. Press Release.
