South Asian Business Alliance Network Held The 10th Annual Award Event

Los Angeles, CA – South Asian Business Alliance Network (SABAN) held its 10th Annual business showcase, gala award and entertainment night of South Asians in America’s largest business event SABAN 2016, (South Asian Biz Award Nationwide) on Thursday, December 15, 6:00pm at the world class Sheraton Cerritos Hotel of Cerritos City, Los Angeles County, California. The theme of this year’s event was “South Asians, best of the east and the west,” the vibrant and diverse community to build business image, conserve the heritage, and celebrate the success of business. The South Asian Americans are dedicated to create the SOUTH ASIAN American market as an integral part of national economy. SABAN is working towards business harmony and establishing a common goal of economic stability, growth, and prosperity of America & business world.

The event was a successful event of about 100 attendees & joined the business showcase from 6:00 pm; the reception at 7:00 pm, the award gala night at 8:00 pm, including the entertainment. The main attraction was the award gala dinner at the Garden Terrance Ballroom attended by guests, award winners and their family and friends.The gala event started with the opening speech by Mr. Ranjit Siva, the Vice President, of SABAN Board of Directors. The Chief Guest & speaker was the Hon. Mayor Ali Sajjad of City of Artesia, CA. Also, joined by Mr. Radi Miranda, President of Asian Business Association, Inland Empire, CA. The Emcee of the event was the community known business advisor and chambers leader Mr. Brandon Shamim.

The main attraction was the SOUTH ASIAN BUSINESS AWARDS presentations and the recipients at the gala event. The different best South Asian category awards went to Mr. Rashmi Shah of Jewel Corner, Ms. Munira ‘Denny’ Tayyib of Seratal Inc. , Sunit Gupta of A to Z Holistic Center, John Sethi of Masco Enterprises, Dr. Nita Patel of Advance Dermatology and Medical Center, K. Sean Singh, Law Office, & Dr. Seema Choudhary of Montissori Funtime. Also, the Chairman’s award to help and assist throughout the years to Radi Miranda and Nenita Miyata.

The Chairman of event was Ms. Beena Khakhria, the president of SABAN. The event Executive Director was Mohammed Islam, the Award Committee members were Bruce Ferguson, Anita Ahmed, LaQiya Islam, Prakash Pancholi, Parvez Howlader, Veera Mahajan and other team members. It was a successful event of attending of hundred VIP awardees and guests representing state and nationwide South Asian American businesses.
