Too many foreign tours

It’s very worrisome for the nation while the Prime Minister and a dozen of ministers and state ministers are at the moment on overseas trip affecting routine activities of respective sectors. A number of officials and employees admitted that the officials did not work sincerely when the ministers stayed out of the country for quite a long time. An official at the secretariat told English daily last Sunday that they have less activity at the ministry when the minister is absent. Some officials avail of the opportunity in the absence of the ministers and go on leave.
Moreover, the parliament session has begun. MPs are also behaving badly undermine our faith in the parliament. They’re not back there. The session resumes today at a time when government and politicians have seldom stood in lower repute with voters. There are the behavioral issues, the loss of decorum and elementary decency among MPs. And there’s the dysfunctional aspect of an institution designed for majority government being reshaped by minority outcomes. Any people anywhere, being inclined and having the power, have the right to rise up, and shake off the existing government, and form a new one that suits them better. This is a most valuable – a most sacred right – a right, which we hope and believe, is to liberate the world. The dogmas of the quiet past are inadequate to the stormy present. The occasion is piled high with difficulty, and we must rise with the occasion. As our case is new, so we must think anew and act anew. A wise and frugal government, which shall leave common citizens free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned – this is the sum of good government.
