World Autism Awareness Day 2017 In United Nations

New York : On 31^st of March 31st 2017 a panel was held in the United Nations, organized by the UN economic and social council chamber. The following countries who were present were co-sponsored permeant mission of Bangladesh, Qatar, Bulgaria, India, Ecuador, China, Israel, Kazakhstan, Italy and Poland. There were many people who came from many different nations to be a part of this great moment of unity. The main agenda started at 10:00am with a welcome ceremony and speech by Mr. Masud Bin Momen, acting president of the General Assembly. Then the Keynote address was held by the Professor Simon Baron Cohen, director of Autism Research Center. There were various discussions about the efforts of raising awareness to the world in regards to autism. There were many people and organizations that participated in this event including Autism Speak, and President and CEO of Kids PDD Tacklers Inc Mr. Mahab was also present for this important day. Various media outlets were also present to document and report the important day. Presenters talked about the individual milestones and legal capacity including the road to independent living from early intervention. Presenters also discussed how relationships and marriage may be affected due to autism. There was a very strong emphasis on vocational training to help individuals cope with autism and overcome the obstacles they may face. Presenters finally discussed the 2030 agenda into how no human should be left behind the efforts to grow as a single race. Press Release.
